I would like to congratulate Eve on posting the 500th comment on Charming, but single. I’d like to link to her blog, but it isn’t up. (It probably was up for like 50 years, but I never update my blogroll, so now it’s down and everyone hates me for being an unloving blogger … I updated tonight. Comment and I’ll add ya.)

Anyway, Eve wins … um, my undying love for continuing to comment on this blog even though all of my posts are about shoes and not dating? (Have replaced sex with shoes. Sigh.)

Thanks to everyone else who comments! I’d mention you all, but I’d leave someone off and that would be bad.

Please continue asking questions for me on this or the previous post. It was fun to answer them.

thank you so much for the recognition, lol. i really do love reading your blog - shoes, lack of dates and all (and don’t worry, you will have plenty of dates soon enough). i haven’t started a blog because i have been busy studying and recently graduating from law school. now i am studying for the bar exam and that leaves zero time for making a blog of my own. besides, i’ve become quite comfortable with reading yours (among others, lol). possibly i will start one this summer after the exam is over and i am done travelling-i’ll let you know ;)

Tryst: I have a pair of shoes JUST for that purpose…well I was gonna wear these big glass looking high heels out in public, but alas I can’t walk in them…so now I need to find someone to have sex with so I can wear them! :D

Please don’t take this wrong, Eve, but maybe you should rethink your decision to substitue shoes for sex. Even though shoes can be wet, smelly, and just not fit quite right–so you’d think they would be like sex— nevertheless shoes still just don’t compare.

Can’t you at least make up a fun story of sexual intrigue for your male audience?
