Still life February 19, 2006

Just what the Internets needed … another bored blogger posting pictures of her mundane existence.
Just in case you wanted a glimpse into the life of La Charming, I present (for your viewing pleasure) my Sunday evening:
Oh wow. Look at that grout up close. Remind me to bleach that.
This is me breaking in some new, inexpensive slingbacks I bought for work purposes. I had to take off my Crocs to accomplish this. I like to break in new shoes whilst houseworking …
Look ma, I cooked!
I even made my own salad dressing. (I bet the fellas love a girl who makes her own blue cheese vinaigrette fresh for dinner.) The lime juice is for my marinade for my fish. I forgot to buy real limes. And the creole mustard is for the dressing. I put creole mustard in as many dishes as possible.
Mahi-mahi (it was overcooked, unfortunately), blue cheese salad and fresh roasted asparagus (with whole cloves of garlic). And Diet Coke avec lime, because I had my share of wine already this weekend.

crocs! are they comfy… i mean honestly i think they look sorta strange. yummy food though!
Wow, the food does look pretty good. It’s hard to believe that someone hasn’t snagged you up yet…great taste in shoes and can cook.
I break in MY shoes while cleaning house TOO!
yum! i want some! cute work shoes, btw.
Thats a good idea working shoes in while house cleaning… too bad i dont do much of that lol…
I’m printing this post, taking it to Kinko’s and laminating it.
I believe you are the perfect woman.
Wombat agog.
I am painfully reminded again that I can’t cook (or just don’t care to). Food looks delicious.
This post made me hungry.
In a good way. Mmmm vinaigrettesssss…
Yummy. That looked great. ANd I like the black shoes.
But what’s with the Crocks. I see everyone wearing them. I don’t understand the appeal. Someone please give me a clue.
On the crocs: I resisted getting a pair, I did. And then I volunteered at a shelter post-Katrina and a TON of doctors and nurses and other people had them on and they looks a whole lot more comfortable than my tennis shoes. And once I tried them on, I was hooked. They are really comfortable for long periods of time, probably because they are so light. And the material looks plastic, but it is really very foamy and soft, so it gives when you walk. Not the most stylish things ever, but if I’m bumming around the house or doing a whirlwind of errands one chilling at my favorite little coffee spot, I have these on. I’m sure the Fashion Police will come arrest me, but I DON’T CARE. Plus, they’re pink. PINK!
Wombat — I don’t know about me being the perfect woman. That mahi-mahi was really unfortunate. ;P
Vixen — I’m sure the fact that I cook a low-calorie pesco-vegetarian (as in not real vegetarian because I eat seafood) cuisine does not appeal to some guys. I mean, I will not make you a steak or chicken wings. Just, ew. But I make a MEAN grilled portobello mushroom, which is kind of like steak, right? Real men eat Salad Herbs and blue cheese and sweet potatoes and various squashes!
Nice shoes! I like I like.
And those don’t get you laid? I’d consider dating you just because of those shoes! hahaha
Why does your fork look so gigantic in the picture compared to the dishes?
And real men know that they had better eat whatever someone else spent time preparing, and they should probably at least pretend they like it… but I suppose the same goes for women.
Asparagus makes your pee smell funny.
I’m liking the black shoes, I’m definitely liking the shoes!
I like using http://www.collaboradate.com . It’s free, easy to use and doesn’t cost anything. Pretty cool! They have Date mapping with Google maps, and you can contact people any way you want (IM, email, etc.) They also have the ability to contact users on any other paid dating site for free. SWEET!
That’s just my 2 cents!
