That crunching sound is my brittle old bones … May 26, 2006

It is slightly disheartening, when you are a single lady at the young age of 26, when you return home from margaritas with friends at 1:30 a.m. and you think, “I don’t know how these young kids do it.”

Some people are wise beyond their years. I’m creaky beyond mine.

LOL, I don’t even have it in me to go clubbing anymore. And I used to be a die hard party girl just last year. But now i’m soooo old, being 25 on my way to 26 and all that

Just wait. 28’s just around the corner from me and what used to be okay to drink at happy hour at 25 is hangover-city now.

I got wasted last Saturday night. Slightly hungover, but nothing I couldn’t handle. Then I got tanked again on Tuesday night, and it has taken me three days to fully recover from getting so drunk twice in one week.

And I’m only 27.

It gets worse when you’re 40. =X

Same here, after a hard night of partying and drinking I need a few good sleeps to recover…ahhhhh old age.

I’m only 24 and I feel the same way. I don’t know where the “young’uns” get their energy.

Oh what I wouldn’t give to be 26 again. Now it’s a monthly happy hour around 6. Slurred speech after drink #1. In bed by 9.

Ain’t no glory in being 28.

It really gets bad when you’d rather just stay home and watch TV than even go out.

Oh, don’t worry, sister, that feeling old thing wears off again by about thirty!! I’m thirty-six, and I felt old ten years ago, but not anymore! It’s just a phase!
