Amen to that! I’m thinking of giving up chocolate again. I’ve been eating far too much of it lately…

I have given up sex before. Granted I was single, so it wasn’t like I was gonna be having it anyhow. Easiest lent ever!

Last year I gave up using the word “like” as an interjection. Yeah, that lasted about a week. Perhaps this is part of why people have a hard time believing I’m 31…

Great idea on giving up being bitter about the no-boyfriend status. I’d like to do that too, but seems like I would fail by Ash Wednesday night. Sigh.

I give up coffee last week.
And for giving up being bitter about not having a boyfriend, I did that one year ago. Since I am really not doing anything about it, I can’t bitch about it.

I’m giving up spending money on things I don’t actually need. This is going to be the hardest lent EVER!!
