Reflecting on an almost solid month of posting December 3, 2007

NaBloPoMo ended and though I missed three days and sometimes struggled to find content, I can honestly say that the experience reminded me why I love writing this blog. It is such a small self-indulgence and something that relaxes me.
So I guess I’ll keep on keeping on. For now.
Goal for the New Year: Get out of this rut, leave the barstool, find my lost confidence and flirt my little Southern tail off.
The comments on the last post made me so happy for some reason. (I’m sure it had a lot to do with my Tiger Pride welling up everywhere. Also: Pickled Okra!) I replied to many of them and I pledge to try to reply to more comments from here on out, though I’m sure I will fail at this at times.
And, just so you know, sometimes I think my comments come across as more contentious than I intend them to. Sometimes I’m being sarcastic and other times I’m just trying to provide an explanation and I think I’m being hysterical and/or witty. So, if I comment on your comment and disagree, it isn’t always because I’m offended and/or annoyed with you. Sorry!
Unless, of course, you deserve my wrath (and you’ll probably know when you do) and/or you are a Buckeye fan.

Oh thank god at least I’m an LSU fan so while I may hate okra I’m still in the good books. Ha.
I always figured you to be in BR! You always tailgated the same days I did, and watched games on TV when I did, etc. I keep looking for someone at the RS Farmers Market with a needless belt on…”Excuse me, are you Charming?” That one might get some strange looks, haha.
I still can’t quite believe we made it in to the ’ship, but I’m so happy! =)

Are you going to find a guy to take you to the LSU/Ohio State BCS Title game? I could only imagine the craziness that will go down that night in New Orleans if LSU wins…
I know Okra exists, but never gave it more thought than that. Perhaps you need a post purely on the okra, as it seemed to be the talk of two posts now. lol
I’m not really into college football. I’ll watch it but it doesn’t get my blood pumping like the Steelers do. I enjoy watching the backyard brawls we have here (Pitt vs. WVU) but that’s about it. I’ll have to give an LSU game a try.
I, for one, am glad that you’ll “keep on keeping on.”

I think I’m an LSU fan by default…….since I think OSU got every break in the book, played a weak schedule, and fell backwards into the National Championship game. I’d love to see LSU open up a can of Whoop-Ass on them.
I hope you don’t block me, I’m an Ole Miss fan! I know, I’m sorry.
Oh dear. I may have to boycott until the game is over. Or until Les Miles leaves for Michigan.

It’s nice of you to do so, but I don’t think you need to “justify” any of your comments. It’s your blog, so it’s up to you to decide what is suitable to write or not.

Definitely keep on writing! I’ve really been enjoying your blog. And as far as flirting your tail off… go for it!! Maybe you’ll meet a nice southern boy who sweeps you off your feet… or at least has some good football tickets. : )

Мы с друзьями собираемся поехать в круиз по просторам России и ближнего зарубежья месяца на два на своих машинах,но не как не можем согласовать маршрут,если у кого уже был опыт такого путешествия,может,что посоветуете.Девчонок с собой не берем,думаем,что во все городах России с этим не будет проблем,если у кого будут рекомендации и в вопросе отдыха с девушками тоже буду признателен.
