When I complain about your stubble being scratchy when I kiss you, I’m not actually complaining.

And that is why we are all confused…

2. Oliveira - August 4, 2008

It is the stubble that makes me 100% sure I will never turn straight. No offense ladies, but kissing someone who doesn’t have stubble just doesn’t feel right. :)

3. gunnlino - August 4, 2008

It’s unfortunate but it’s something we guys have to contend with. No amount of trying ever makes it all go away all the time.

4. Sara Jane - August 4, 2008

I love the stubble too!

5. Young1 - August 4, 2008

I love the stubble there is nothing like feeling a bit of rough on a REAL man!

6. notsojenny - August 4, 2008

the only thing that bothers me about stubble is the first few days getting used to it when it looks like you have a rash above your lip. eventually your skin toughens though… it’s like a constant exfoliation… i love it : )

7. alexandreena - August 4, 2008

I really like the stubble!

8. freeandflawed - August 4, 2008

I’m not complaining because usually I’m enjoying the makeout session. However, I could do without the red, raw feeling on my chin after that :(

9. Drea - August 4, 2008

Stubble = Sexy and manly

10. Hadley - August 4, 2008

Face Stubble = Yes please!!! Chest Stubble = No! Bad!!

Manscaping a la removal of chest hair is a big fat no. There is nothing worse than running your hands over a stubbly chest.

11. Smilf - August 4, 2008

Mmm…I find stubble sexy as well. I don’t like completely scratchy stubble, but I like when it really needs shaved and it’s almost soft.

12. skcitygirl - August 4, 2008

yeah but what about the new place???

13. geekhiker - August 4, 2008

So you say you don’t like the stubble when you actually do, but your not going to tell him you like it but instead expect him to know that what you’re saying isn’t actually the case? Ha! This, ladies and gentlemen, is why guys never understand women! LOL

But at least you’re getting kissed… :)

14. Kiwi - August 4, 2008

Yes! Stubble is the best, especially in the form of a little 5 o’clock shadow.

15. singlefabulous - August 4, 2008

Who is this stubbly-faced man you are smooching?? :)

16. maya - August 4, 2008

Oh yeah, I am a HUGE fan of the stubble too! Haha! Excited to know you’re being kissed, can’t wait to find out who! :D

17. Around The Funny Farm - August 4, 2008

But when I AM COMPLAINING about stubble, I AM COMPLAINING! Of course, my man has stubble an hour after he shaves! lol

18. Felish - August 4, 2008

I agree completely. My guy hates his stubble; I have to fight with him NOT to shave!

19. Moshizzle - August 4, 2008

There are some places that stubble doesn’t feel quite so good. I, myself, love the smell and feel of a fresh shave. Mmm, soap!

20. Cecile Weekly - August 5, 2008

Well said Charming! Stubble is what makes a man!

21. wailin - August 5, 2008

Stubble.. what about beards? Seriously. I don’t get the manly five o’clock shadow. Course, my beard’s not rugged either… Yeah, I’m hopelessly waiting for a great beard to grow. >.>

22. Ms. Florida Transplant - August 5, 2008

I’m not a fan of the stubble… while it looks sexy, it’s not worth having my chin and lip become raw and red.

23. Niyara - August 5, 2008

ha! so true! every1s comments r so funny i cant think of 1 of my own

lmao at some1 who said its like constant exfoliation!!!! that really made me giggle! hehe

24. gunnlino - August 5, 2008

Never have I heard/read so many ladies talk up stubble, when in fact most when talking to their male partners say otherwise, ie;’ eew, why don’t you shave” or ” you don’t think I’m important enough that you shave for our date”, etc, etc, c’mon ladies get it together.

25. imfb - August 5, 2008

Really? As a guy, I always took this as a complaint.

26. wailin - August 5, 2008

Actually, I was trimming my beard after writing this, making it all nice and pretrt like, when i screwed up. Now I am baby faced. I hate that. A beard is the difference between boys and men dammit!

I’ve been devolved… :(

27. Sahara - August 6, 2008

I agree with Ms. Florida Transplant (#21) comment. I hate being red and sore all over my face.

28. mon - August 6, 2008

I like a scruff….but nothing beats a fresh shave.

29. delightfuleccentric - August 6, 2008

I love 2-3 day old stubble. I can (and have) just rub my hand over it for hours. It makes me happy. :) First day stubble, though - OUCH!

30. jsutagirl - August 6, 2008

That is the one thing that I hate about stubble. When I bring it up he gets mad, but that crap hurts. LOL I love the design of your blog.

31. Damsel Underdressed - August 7, 2008

I love the feeling of “kissburn.” :)

32. Carmen - August 7, 2008

I totally agree!!!!!!!

33. She's Just Darling - August 8, 2008

Sometimes I like a little stubble. It’s a 5 o’clock shadow “I’ve been working hard all day” sort of appeal, but I don’t like when it’s too heavy that it looks like I was making out with sandpaper.

Love your blog, btw! I’ve added it to my favorite reads list!

34. Rachel - August 8, 2008

Amen…Sometimes it hurts my face, but I definitely won’t complain that he is kissing me and wants to be close.

35. AJ - August 12, 2008

Charming, please fill us in! This post is such a tease. Who’s the new guy? ;)

36. Neenee - August 13, 2008

So are we going to hear more about the man with the sexy stubble?

37. Island Mummy - August 14, 2008

I have to say I love freshly shaved kissable face, so glad my honey shaved his beard… Most women I know don’t really like beards.

38. Andrea - August 14, 2008

I, too, love the stubble.

39. missetiquette - August 20, 2008

You said it! I love the stubble.

40. Robert - September 26, 2008

Like most women, you are not complaining….you’re just venting!
